Applying for a Garden Lot and

Becoming a Member of the Gladstone Community Garden

 

To obtain a garden lot, you must follow these steps:​​

  1. Read and agree to the Rules and Responsibilities and Liability Release (links below). IMPORTANT: You will be responsible for a minimum of 4 garden work hours during the growing season.  â€‹

  2. Click on a membership plan below, specifying whether you want a full lot or a half lot.

  3. Pay a refundable application/deposit fee of $50.00 with this application.  

  4. Know the Bylaws of the Gladstone Community Gardening Association. If the timing of your application permits, plan to attend the Annual Meeting of the Association on the first Tuesday in March (optional but recommended).

  5. Know the Meldrum Bar Park parking regulations. We recommend obtaining an annual pass  if you are not a resident of the City of Gladstone. â€‹

  6. Attend a garden orientation session where you will select your lot, sign the Liability Release, and receive your membership card.

  7. BEGIN GARDENING!

Membership Plans

  • New Membership--Half Lot

    35$
    +$50 Refundable Application Fee
    The New Member fee is $85.00 for a 20'x15' lot, including a $50.00 application fee.
    Valid for 12 months
    • 12 months from March 1, 2025 to February 28, 2026
    • The $50.00 application fee becomes a security deposit.
  • New Membership--Full Lot

    40$
    +$50 Refundable Application Fee
    The New Member fee is $90.00 for a 20'x30' lot, including a $50.00 application fee.
    Valid for 12 months
    • 12 months from March 1, 2025 to February 28, 2026
    • The $50.00 application fee becomes a security deposit.

You will sign the Liability Release during your garden  orientation
