Applying for a Garden Lot and

Becoming a Member of the Gladstone Community Garden​

 

To obtain a garden lot, you must follow these steps:​​

  1. Read and agree to the Rules and Responsibilities and Liability Release (links below). IMPORTANT: You will be responsible for a minimum of 4 community work hours during the growing season (2 hours for a half lot).  

  2. Click on a membership plan below, specifying whether you want a full lot or a half lot.

  3. Pay a refundable application/deposit fee of $50.00 with this application.  

  4. Know the Bylaws of the Gladstone Community Gardening Association. 

  5. Know the Meldrum Bar Park parking regulations. We recommend purchasing an annual pass  if you are not a resident of the City of Gladstone (passes are free to city residents). 

  6. Attend a garden orientation session where you will select your lot, sign the Liability Release, and receive your membership card.  An orientation leader will contact you. The orientation will start at the green shed.

  7. BEGIN GARDENING!

Membership Plans

  • New Membership--Half Lot

    35$
    +$50 Refundable Application Fee
    The New Member fee is $85.00 for a 20'x15' lot, including a $50.00 application fee.
    Valid for 12 months
    • 12 months from March 1, 2026 to February 28, 2027.
    • The $50.00 application fee becomes a security deposit.
  • New Membership--Full Lot

    45$
    +$50 Refundable Application Fee
    The New Member fee is $95.00 for a 20'x30' lot, including a $50.00 application fee.
    Valid for 12 months
    • 12 months from March 1, 2026 to February 28, 2027.
    • The $50.00 application fee becomes a security deposit.
