I have a hack that some might find helpful. We purchased the Concentrates All Purpose Fertilizer to amend the soil in our plot and then took the rest of the large bag home. I brought about 2 cups to our plot in a zip lock baggie for adding to planting holes and to top dress transplants. I left it in the garden and some critter chewed a hole through the baggie.
I have taken an empty plastic container that used to have peppercorns in it. It holds one pound and two ounces and has a cap that is divided as many spice jars are; one side has a slot for the convenience of scooping out the contents and the other side has large holes so we can shake the contents out. I've filled this container with the fertilizer and now I can simply shake out the amount needed for planting holes and top dressing individual plants. It works a treat!
