Our New Web Site!
Hello fellow gardeners! I hope you find our new garden website useful and easy to use. We built this site to vastly improve the annual process of renewing memberships in the garden and bringing new gardeners into our community.
I think you can imagine the effort and expense our voluntary president, secretary and treasurer expended in printing out renewal forms and three sets of documents; stuffing them into envelopes; stamping and mailing them; and then tracking the returned forms and checks and entering the information into a spreadsheet (more than 20 pieces of information). And then all this information and paper had to be filed away safely for future reference. And then there were trips to the post office and the bank.
Our new website eliminates all of this, allowing our association's officers to focus on more meaningful tasks in the garden itself.
We know the roll-out of the site has been less than flawless, but in the long run, this new way of operating will save the association a lot of money and save our officers a lot of headaches.
